Sending flowers to somebody else in Dubai is a different problem from buying them for yourself. You do not have their exact address, you do not know when they will be home, and you do not want to ask them any of that without ruining the surprise. Here is how to handle each of those.

You do not need their address

This is the question we get most. The area and a working mobile number is enough — the driver calls when he is a few minutes away and takes directions from the recipient. You never have to ask them for a building name or an apartment number.

If you do have the full address, put it in. It is slightly faster. But it is not required.

Where to send it

To a home: best in the evening, after work. Morning deliveries to apartments often end up with a concierge or a security desk, which takes the moment out of it.

To an office: mid-morning or early afternoon. Avoid the last half hour of the day — people leave early. Reception will usually accept the delivery and call the recipient. Keep the size sensible; a very large bouquet in a shared office is a statement to the whole floor, not just to them.

To a restaurant: call the restaurant first. Most in Dubai will hold flowers at the host desk and bring them out on cue, which works far better than a driver walking in mid-meal.

Timing the surprise

You can pick a delivery slot at checkout. Use it when the moment matters — a birthday dinner, someone finishing a shift, the minute they walk in the door. When it does not matter, the default is faster: free delivery across Dubai in about 45 minutes.

The card

Every order includes a free gift card, and the message is the part the recipient keeps. Write it as you would say it. If you are sending anonymously, say so in the message — otherwise the driver may be asked who sent them and will have no answer.
