45-Minute Flower Delivery in Dubai: How It Works

Most florists in Dubai quote a delivery window. We quote a number: order now, and in about 45 minutes it is at their door, anywhere in Dubai, free, with no minimum spend.

People are reasonably sceptical of that, so here is exactly how it works and where the limits are.

What "45 Minutes" Actually Means

It is the time from you completing checkout to the driver handing over the arrangement. Order at 10:00 AM and it is there by roughly 10:45 AM.

It is not a marketing average with an asterisk. It works because of three deliberate choices:

• Everything is arranged in-house: We are not passing your order to a partner shop, which is where most of the delay in flower delivery comes from.
• Built to order: Stems are selected fresh each morning and arrangements are built to order, not pulled from a chiller and re-wrapped.
• Our own drivers: No third-party courier queue, no batching your order with six others going the opposite direction.

Where We Deliver, and What It Costs

• Dubai: Free, no minimum order, about 45 minutes.
• Sharjah: 50 AED, about 1 hour 15 minutes.
• Ajman: 60 AED, about 1 hour 30 minutes.
• Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah: 85 AED, about 2 hours.
• Abu Dhabi and Al Ain: 100 AED, about 2 hours.

Free across all of Dubai means all of Dubai. Not "within 10 km of the shop", and not "on orders over 200 AED". Most florists here either charge for delivery or ask you to spend 200–300 AED first. We do neither, and a 30 AED single rose is delivered on the same terms as a 1,300 AED arrangement.

Opening Hours

Every day, 10 AM until midnight. That last part matters more than it sounds — a lot of the reason people need flowers urgently is that they remembered at 9 PM.

Ordering for a Specific Time

If the moment has to be exact — a dinner reservation, the end of a meeting, a surprise timed to when someone walks in — choose the delivery date and time slot on the product page, before you add to cart.

For anything genuinely delicate in its timing, message us on WhatsApp after ordering. A human will confirm it rather than leaving you to trust the system.

What Happens After You Order

1. Your order arrives at the shop and goes straight to an arranger.
2. Your gift card message is printed and attached before the order is wrapped.
3. A driver takes it out — usually within minutes of it being finished.
4. It is handed over at the address you gave.

The Gift Card is Free, and It is Not an Afterthought

Every single order includes a luxury gift card carrying your message, at no charge. Add it in the gift message box in your cart and we print it before the flowers leave.

Some florists in Dubai charge for this or hand the driver a blank card. A bouquet with no message is an anonymous delivery, which defeats most of the point.

This is also the fastest option if you need something right now — the arrangement is ready in roughly the time it takes you to park.

What We Cannot Promise

Being straight about the edges:

• 45 minutes is Dubai only: The other emirates are 1 hour 15 minutes to 2 hours, and that is a real drive, not a padded estimate.
• We need a reachable recipient: If nobody answers and there is no safe place to leave flowers, the driver will call you. In a Dubai summer, flowers cannot sit outside a door.
• Exact stems vary: We buy fresh each morning, so a specific variety may be swapped for something equivalent. The style, the size, and the value stay the same.
• Peak days run longer: Valentine's Day and Mother's Day are the two dates where 45 minutes becomes an ambition rather than a promise. Order earlier on those.

If Something is Wrong

Contact us the same day. If an arrangement arrives damaged, wrong, or simply not up to standard, send us a photo on WhatsApp or to info@flowersontheway.com with your order number and we will replace it or refund it.

Fresh flowers are final sale once delivered — that is the nature of a perishable product — but that has never been an excuse for delivering something poor.
