Mother's Day Flowers in Dubai
Mother’s Day in the UAE and across the Arab world is 21 March — the first day of spring. It is a bigger day here than most people expect, and in a city as international as Dubai it is not the only one.
Which date is yours?
- 21 March — UAE and the Arab world. The main one.
- Fourth Sunday of Lent (March) — UK and Ireland, Mothering Sunday.
- Second Sunday of May — United States, India, Australia and much of Europe.

What to send your mother
The honest answer is: her favourite colour, over any convention. It is remembered far longer than the “correct” flower. If you genuinely do not know:
- A hand-tied signature bouquet in soft, warm tones is the safest thing in the shop. Thoughtful without being a declaration.
- A bloom box needs no vase, no trimming and no attention — genuinely kinder to receive if she is not going to be home for hours.
- Something smaller and elegant often lands better than something enormous. Volume can read as apology.
- A cake alongside the flowers turns a delivery into an occasion, especially if the family is gathering.
Avoid heavy fragrance if she has a small flat or shares it with anyone sensitive to scent, and avoid anything that arrives needing immediate arranging on a day she should not be working.
Time it properly
Use the delivery date and time slot on the product page, above Add to Cart. Two slots work best on 21 March: early morning, so it is the first thing that happens to her that day, or early evening, when the family is together and someone can photograph it.
If you are booking for a specific hour, book ahead. 21 March is one of our three busiest days of the year and the good slots go first.
If you are not in the UAE
Most Mother’s Day orders to Dubai come from somewhere else — a son in London, a daughter in Toronto. Pay by card in AED, give us her phone number, and we handle the rest. Remember we are on Gulf Standard Time, UTC+4.
Outside Dubai
Same day to every emirate at a fixed fee: Sharjah, Ajman, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah.

Can I include a handwritten message?

Can I send to two addresses?
Place them as separate orders so each one gets its own delivery slot and its own card. Dubai is free either way.
What if she is not home?
Our driver calls on arrival, so a reachable phone number matters more than the address. If she will be out, schedule the delivery for when she is back rather than hoping.
