International Women's Day Flowers in Dubai | 8 March

International Women's Day is 8 March, worldwide. In the UAE it is marked mostly in workplaces, schools and universities — which makes it a different ordering problem from Mother's Day. Most orders we deliver on 8 March are group orders going to an office, not a single bouquet going to a home.

Purple, and why it matters here

Purple is the colour associated with International Women's Day, and using it is the quickest way to make a delivery read as deliberate rather than generic.

If purple is not right for the recipient, white and soft green is the neutral that never misfires at work.

Ordering for a team

This is where most 8 March orders go wrong, and all of it is avoidable.

  • One large arrangement beats many small ones for a shared office. It looks considered, it survives the day, and it costs less than ten individual bouquets. Try the Grand Pastel Garden Basket at AED 540 or the Beautiful Flowers Grand Box at AED 780.
  • If it must be individual, keep every one identical. Different sizes on different desks is worse than no flowers.
  • Boxes, not wrapped bouquets. Nobody at an office has a vase. A box arrives with its own water and needs nothing. See Luxury Bloom Boxes from AED 200.
  • Book a morning slot the day before. Flowers that arrive at 4 PM miss the point. On the product page you pick the exact time.

What to write

Keep it about the person, not the day. Cards that land well:

  • "For everything you do here that goes unnoticed. Noticed."
  • "Glad to work with you. Today and the rest of the year."
  • "With appreciation from all of us."

Avoid anything that compliments appearance, and avoid red roses entirely — they read as romantic and land badly between colleagues. Our guide to rose colours in the Gulf explains why.

The other two dates

The UAE marks three separate days and people mix them up:

  • 8 March — International Women's Day, mostly workplaces.
  • 21 MarchMother's Day in the Arab world, family and home.
  • 28 AugustEmirati Women's Day, national, both offices and family.

Delivery

Free across Dubai in about 45 minutes, no minimum order, 10 AM to midnight, seven days a week. Same day to every other emirate: Sharjah AED 50, Ajman AED 60, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah AED 85, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain AED 100 — full table on the delivery page.

For an office, give us the company name, floor and a phone number. Reception desks are the single most common reason a delivery stalls.
