Flower Prices in Dubai: What Your Budget Actually Buys
Nobody publishes this, so here it is plainly: what a flower budget actually gets you in Dubai, using our own prices. Other shops differ, but the shape of it is the same across the city.
Under AED 50 — add-ons, not bouquets
This is the range for a single rose (AED 30), a foil balloon (AED 50), rose petals, or a cake topper. Lovely as an addition or a small gesture; not a bouquet.
A single rose delivered free across Dubai is a genuinely good gesture and we send a lot of them. Do not feel it is too small.
AED 50 to 100 — balloons, cakes and small gifts
Number and letter balloons, balloon trios, cakes from AED 90, teddy bears, gift sets. The natural range for "flowers plus something", where the something sits here and the flowers sit above.
AED 100 to 200 — where real bouquets start
This is the honest entry point for an arranged bouquet in Dubai. Around AED 135 to 145 you are into hand-tied roses and mixed arrangements of a decent size — enough to fill a vase and read as a proper gift.
It is our busiest band, and for most occasions it is the right one. Everyday elegance and much of birthday flowers sit here.
AED 200 to 350 — the gift-it-without-thinking range
Larger bouquets, structured arrangements and rose boxes. At around AED 290 to 300 you get grand rose boxes and designer bouquets — the range where the arrangement has real presence in a room.
If it is a significant occasion and you do not want to think about it, this is the band to pick from.
AED 350 to 600 — statement pieces
Large arch arrangements, premium bouquets, combination offers with a cake or a teddy included. Around AED 490 buys a substantial rose bouquet.
AED 600 and above — the top of the range
Seasonal peonies from around AED 740, grand boxes, and at the very top the Hundred Rose Grand Box at AED 1,310. These are proposal, milestone-anniversary and corporate-gift territory.
Why prices move in February
Rose prices rise across the entire market in the weeks around Valentine's Day. That is global supply, not local greed — growers and freight both price up. Every florist in Dubai is affected.
Ordering a week early usually costs less than ordering on 13 February, and you get a better choice of the time slot too. More in our Valentine's guide.
Where the hidden costs usually are
Delivery is where quoted prices stop being comparable. Many Dubai florists either charge a delivery fee or require a minimum order of AED 200 to 300 before delivery is free.
Ours is free across all of Dubai with no minimum, so an AED 30 single rose is delivered on the same terms as the AED 1,310 box. Other emirates carry a fixed fee — the full list is here, with nothing added at checkout.
The other saving: collect from the shop and take 10% off with the code PICKUP10.
What actually determines the price
Stem count first, then flower type — imported peonies and garden roses cost multiples of chrysanthemums — then the structure. A box or an arch takes far more labour than a wrap, and that is most of the difference between two bouquets that look the same size.
